Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups of whole wheat flour
  • 3/4 cups of dark brown sugar
  • 3/4 cups of granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 stick of softened butter
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • Your favorite chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Stir the two sugars together and then add the flour. Mix them together well.
Add the baking soda and salt: mix all of the dry ingredients together.

Add the egg and softened butter. Beat the ingredients in.

Once the ingredients are beaten in, pour on the vanilla and stir it in evenly.

Now it's time for the chocolate!
Add as much or as little of the amount of the chocolate chips you desire.
(We like chocolate so I used about 2 cups full of chips)
Using your hands, work the chocolate chips into the batter.
When your oven is ready, roll 1-2 inch balls in the palm of your hand and keep them 2-3 inches apart.

Bake for 10-12 minutes (or until the center is baked and the edges are just lightly browned).

I also experimented with a Wilton mini-muffin tray!

Reunited and It Feels So Good!

Cathy has finally moved back to Boston!

Oh! And she's now officially a college graduate! A-S-U!

After graduation I took a trip with my mom to the Hoover Dam and then to Orlando! In Orlando we swam with a beluga whale named Maple, rode the Manta coaster (the craziest ride my mom and I have gone on to date), and then hand picked our own pearls and settings as graduation gifts!
It was such a great trip!

But now that I am home I am super busy applying for jobs and organizing all of my belongings into boxes, as Adam and I begin our search for our apartment!
