DIY Chalkboard

Lately, I've seen so many cute photos done with chalkboards, but when I went to look online to buy one i saw some that ran for like $40! WHAT?! That is just insane! So I decided to make my own! I had an upcoming wedding with one of my sorority sisters from ASU I was taking photos for, and I decided I would ask Crystal if she would be my guinea pig. Obviously the quality of the iPhone photos are not great, but I was charging the camera batteries for my SLR at the same time I was making these chalkboards! Anthropologie Knock Off: Snow Globes

So, these adorable Anthropologie Mason Jar Snow Globes start at $18 a pop. Holy cow! We certainly don't have that kind of money to throw around on home decor at the moment. However, I thought I could try and recreate my own by buying a few supplies at AC Moore. As it turns out: I can! Check out this pictorial of my Anthropologie knock offs!
